A former collegiate and professional soccer player, Chad grew up playing in Salt Lake with several local club teams, including Sparta United. After playing at Skyline High School, he went on to play college soccer at Westminster College before playing professionally with the Utah Blitzz and winning a Pro Soccer League National Championship in 2004.
During his playing career, Chad played many years with the Utah State Select Team and was selected to play for Regional and National Teams in the USASA. He’s competed in the US Open Cup, MLS Combines, and is a 2-time finalist in the USASA National Amateur Cup.
Chad began coaching soccer in 2012 and currently coaches both boys and girls teams. He views his most important responsibility as a coach is to nurture a love of soccer in his players. He is in the process of earning his USSF D coaching license.
